Why Worship?
Last Sunday I was invited to speak about worship at Annalong Christian Fellowship. The title of my talk was ‘Why Worship?‘ The idea was to make us think about why we sing worship songs, whether on a Sunday or at any other time. Are we singing to the sky? Is there anyone out there listening to these songs? Does God really care whether we sing to him or not? In my view it is so easy just to go to church on Sunday and sing the same old songs and just do it ‘because we’ve always done it’ but really don’t why or what it does. This really caught my eye as I walked past a building site in North West London and this was sprayed onto the security wall around it. I love the very striking colours. This is a good example of how graffiti can look good if it’s not just a scrawl. (hope the building company doesn’t mind though).
A very nice motto to live by.

Back Online Again!
I’ve been offline for a few weeks now for several reasons: Firstly, I recently separated from my wife of 15 years. This has been a rather stressful time with moving home and also losing my job at about the same time. It’s been hard on my 3 kids too but we keep in touch as much as possible. With moving I also lost my Broadband connection as the house I am in now does not have a landline. But now I have mobile broadband so I’m back on again.
