Why Worship?
Last Sunday I was invited to speak about worship at Annalong Christian Fellowship. The title of my talk was ‘Why Worship?‘ The idea was to make us think about why we sing worship songs, whether on a Sunday or at any other time. Are we singing to the sky? Is there anyone out there listening to these songs? Does God really care whether we sing to him or not? In my view it is so easy just to go to church on Sunday and sing the same old songs and just do it ‘because we’ve always done it’ but really don’t why or what it does.
