I bought a new Bodhran
What’s a Bodhran I hear you ask? A Bodhran is an Irish frame drum. I went to Belfast for the first time in about a year to wander around the shops with nothing particularly in mind.
Every time I go to Belfast I like to go on a crawl of all the music shops so I went to Marcus Music first. I used to have a Bodhran but gave it away to an American who really wnated to learn to play but didn’t know of anywhere in the States that sold one. (Ah, wasn’t that kind of me). The I happened to see this package – an 18 inch genuine Irish made Bodhran, a carrying case, beater and a DVD tutorial film for absolute beginners – all for £49.99. I’m not a beginner but I thought this would be a really good package as now all of my family can learn to play.
